Day in and day out, I see network marketers full of stress. If you ask them what is wrong, the most common answer is “I need to recruit more people.”
They are desperate!
And that desperation shows to the people they encounter. It gives the impression of unprofessionalism.
They are struggling and it becomes a circle of chaos.
In today’s post, I want to help those of you who are struggling; those network marketers who are desperate.
If you don’t “fit that bill” I am sure you know someone who does. So please share this post with your team. Let’s work together and take the struggle and stress out of network marketing recruiting.
Here are 4 tips for no struggling recruiting.
No Struggling Recruiting Tip #1: Develop A No Fear Mindset
One of the top reasons network marketers struggle with recruiting is fear and apprehension.
While many have no issue approaching a person they know and who sits in the same, or lower economic class, approaching a stranger who gives the impression of being in a higher class creates “bone-tingling sensations.”
It is time to realize that fear is your biggest enemy!
And what is the worst thing that could happen if you approach someone like:
- Bill Gates,
- Mark Cuban,
- The town Doctor,
- Etc…?
They won’t slap you, spank you or shoot you. Truth be told, they will probably give you a lot of respect and may even sign up. Because you have confidence and showed no fear. Because of that, they will believe you have something great going on.
Your challenge today is to go approach someone in a higher economical class. Talk with the lawyer, doctor, politician or someone of an extremely higher level and realize there is no reason to fear.
No Struggling Recruiting Tip #2: Don’t Let The Outcome Control You
This is a tip that my friend Ray Higdon preaches consistently… Do not become addicted to the outcome!
Not everyone will say yes and not everyone will say no.
You need not allow that affect your next action. Your job is to just make friends and tell people. Let the ball roll where it will.
This is a key to not looking desperate.
No Struggling Recruiting Tip #3: Use The Yes Principal
Okay, here is a little psychology lesson for you… It WORKS!
You want to get prospects adapted to saying yes before you invite them to join you and your business.
So ask questions where the logical answer is yes. I suggest 4, 5 or more…
- Do you find bills getting higher but your wages staying the same? – Yes
- You surely want to give your family all you can so they can have a good life? – Yes
- Are you open to an opportunity to add to your income if it did not interfere with what you are doing now? – Yes
Do you see my point? C’mon, say it…
Yes!
You have created a system where yes is easier for them to say and the odds are now in your favor that the prospect will say yes to joining your team.
No Struggling Recruiting Tip #4: Get Leads That Are Ready To Hear From You
My last tip for you in this post may seem odd when you first look at it… After all, you are struggling and the thought of getting leads ready for you is the problem…

I am confused.
I attended Ray Higdon’s event via streaming this past weekend, which is how I learned about your product. I am intrigued by the app but am confused about the pricing. Ray had said he was going to ask you if the discount was available to those of us on streaming, but I have not heard back from him.
But I’m also confused about the differences between 2.0 and 3.0.
And I have also seen a special for $297. Could you clarify for me the difference between 2.0 and 3.0? Could you let me know if those of us that attended via streaming can take advantage of the special offered at the event and if so, how? How does the special offered at the event differ from the $297 special.
Hi Ann,
First off, I spoke with Eric just a little while ago and he wants me to ask you if you are a Rank Maker member?
If you are, we will be doing training shortly on 3.0 which includes leads and a calendar system.
I hope that covers your concerns, but feel free to ask more questions and I will do my best to get you answers.
Hey, Eric…it was great meeting you and picking your brain at Ray’s Prospecting and Duplication Summit. Great post…I especially like the “YES” principle…Brilliant!! Thanks.
