The ultimate goal is to recruit a large team of network marketers in your downline with all duplicating the same system… Recruiting large numbers below them to the point where you have built a massive conglomerate.
Is it easy?
No!
Can it be done?
Absolutely!
The fact is, if it were easy, everyone would be in network marketing and there would be no sense in writing this article and Rocket Recruiting would not be needed. But, I am going to help make recruiting slightly easier for you. Here are 5 tips on convincing prospects to join your network marketing business.
Convincing Prospects Tip #1: The Residual Income
One of the top objections when recruiting is, “I don’t have time to work a business.”
I have found the best response is, “Yes, we are all consumed with time issues (prospect’s name). I understand your plight. It is one I felt too. But as I watch my business grow by only working it one or two hours per day, I realize the time I invest now will create more time in the future to live life to its fullest. I’m sure you want that too, right?”
It will be difficult for the prospect to disagree with that and there’s a good chance he/she will be convinced.
Convincing Prospects Tip #2: Believe
My friend Ray Higdon defines this as posture. There is nothing more convincing than the fact that you completely believing in your product, your company and most of all, yourself.
If you have the belief, the posture, that is really all the convincing you truly need. Because, even if the prospect says no, they will leave wondering if they made a serious financial mistake.
Convincing Prospects Tip #3: Be A Friend And Not Another Salesman
You will find many “experts” telling you to “pitch” the opportunity.
“Pitch” is a term used in baseball when a person throws a ball at 80 – 100 miles per hour trying to strike a batter out.
Pitchers and batters are normally not “friendly” with each other.
You are not trying to strike the prospect out, you are trying to help he/she “hit a homerun.”
So don’t pitch…
Ask questions and educate the prospect.
Be their friend and you will be much more convincing than trying to be like a siding or used car salesman.
Convincing Prospects Tip #4: Use 3rd Party Tools
You don’t have to do all the convincing yourself. That is the exact reason we created Rocket Recruiting. Instead of you doing the convincing, use our app with the likes of:
- Myself
- Tanya Aliza
- Ray Higdon
- and Todd Falcone
to do the convincing for you. All are “rockstars” in network marketing. They have proven they can build massive network marketing teams and will help you build a huge team. Just scroll to the top and join Rocket Recruiting app to gain this great convincing tool.
Convincing Prospects Tip #5: Stop Trying To Convince
This may sound like an oxymoron, which it is because this post is all about convincing prospects.
But it’s true.
If you are so focused on convincing, you probably will not convince many people.
Why?
Because you will come off as desperate.
Ray Higdon also has a great suggestion… Turn the table. Ask them to convince you why you should let them join your team.
Prospects won’t know what just hit them!
You are the Rockstar and they need to have the stuff to be on your team!
Lastly
It is all in your mindset… If you believe you can, you will!
So follow that prescription and I know success is just a step away.
Have a great day!
