First and foremost, I am going to tell you that you cannot allow other people to control your dream. If you feel the call to take your network marketing business full time, by all means, go for it…

But…

I want to share some key points of advice and ask you some questions before you make this decision. These are not to deter you, but to help you see the whole picture clearly.

So first, I believe you should take out a pen and pad of paper.

Answer these questions

It is important that you see the complete picture. In some cases, we make decisions based on emotions without looking at any potential consequences.

• Are you going full time because you hate your job and want out?
• Does your part time network marketing income currently match or exceed your income from your job?
• How long have you been building your network marketing business?
• Do you have a passion for the network marketing business you started, or are you doing it just for the money?

Staying Part Time Instead Of Full Time Can Sometimes Be The Best Method

Again, if your heart is telling you that it is time to go full time with your network marketing business, maybe you should.

But there are a plethora of advantages and benefits in building your multilevel marketing business part time.

Helps you keep a solid work – life balance

Ask any business owner how their work – life balance is and they will probably shake their head. Business owners work hours upon hours just to ensure the business keeps running. And, if you go full time with your network marketing business, you will probably be working more hours than you imagined.

How will that effect your family life?

You gain leverage

By working your job and your business part time, you build leverage.

My friend Ray Higdon often talks about leverage in your network marketing business.

What I mean by gaining leverage is you are not coming across to prospects in desperation. When you are working your business full time and have come up against an abnormal amount of no thank yous, it can be easy to slip into “desperate” mode.

When you work a job and the MLM business part time, you are less apt to show desperation.

You have leverage!

You can master your skills

When you work the business part time, you will have the ability to master all the skills you need to be a master of building your MLM business.

If you are working the business full time, will you take the time to read books, join webinars and keep learning? Or will you be working the business so much that you won’t have the time to learn more?

Financial stability

I once spoke with a person who had built a massive network marketing downline. Seeing such good checks coming in, he decided to quit his job and go full time. It worked great for about 2 months, but he was on a breakaway compensation plan with his MLM company.

Needless to say, he had a large group breakaway and the income dropped. While he still received overrides from their sales, it was nowhere near the amount he was making before and put him in a difficult position.

It did turn out okay when his original employer did take him back. The man is still building his network marketing business and working his day job. And he is quite happy and financially stress free.

Now That I Have Showed You Some Reasons You May Want To Consider Staying Part Time, Here Are Reasons You May Want To Take It Full Time

There are some great reasons you might be ready to stop working for another and go full time with your MLM business.

• You have saved an ample amount of money and you are currently earning 3 times the money in your business than you bring in from your job.
• You have a love for the business and your family completely supports your desire to go full time.
• And you have various other forms of passive income.

I wrote this because I have watched many people go full time just on their emotions. They do it too early and find themselves wishing they would have looked at the whole picture.

There are many top earners who do so part time.
