You want to have a team that “jives” together.

Truth be told, your network marketing success can hinge on the team you have built.

So in today’s post, I am going to give you 8 tips to build a great network marketing team.

Build A Great Network Marketing Team Tip #1: Don’t Assume

It is always best to not assume if a recruit will be a business builder, a customer or do nothing at all.

Just do what you do best… Train them with the tools you have… Help them get adjusted and answer any questions they may have… Follow up at times and allow them to integrate into the team.

Build A Great Network Marketing Team Tip #2: Set And Keep The Pace

Whatever pace you set as the leader, your team… your tribe, will follow that pace.

So get out and prospect, recruit, train, follow up…. Be the leader who sets a pace that creates success for the whole team.

Build A Great Network Marketing Team Tip #3: Give The Majority Of Your Time To The Deserving

Time is a valuable commodity. It is important you use it wisely.

You need to use a strategy on who you will spend the majority of your time with. There are always some recruits who will try to take a lot of your time but never produce.

Give your time to the “movers and shakers.” Yes, you need to spend time with all, but don’t allow the ones who are doing little take the majority of your time.

Getting your team to company events instills a sense of belonging to something bigger than themselves.

The motivation factor alone is huge!

The majority of network marketing business owners do not want another boss. They started the business to be their own boss.

There is a common mistake made by network marketing leaders. It is: if I train more, the team will grow more.

What too much training does is, take time that could be used prospecting and recruiting.

I suggest spending 1-2 hours per week on training. You can do that with a weekly call or webinar.

Every single person I have ever met loves getting recognized for their efforts and accomplishments. By publicly recognizing team members whether the accomplishment is big or small, you will help build their esteem and drive them to the path of success.

What I mean by this is: everything you teach your team member, he/she should be able to teach their recruit.

It is called duplication… Make it stupid simple.

Teach them to teach and you will see massive success with your network marketing team.
