Just think… If say, a barber shop owner decided that he would just open and close at whatever hours he felt like working, what would happen?
Not knowing the hours, potential customers would find a reliable barber that they know will be open certain days and hours.
In network marketing, you need to have self discipline too. You have scheduled times for prospecting, presenting, following up and training. Self discipline says that even on those days when you do not “feel” like doing one of these tasks, you do it anyway.
Do remember, your downline is also watching you and if you exhibit self discipline, they will too.

It should never be a question if you can succeed; you should know deep down that if you do the work, you WILL succeed!
Having confidence in yourself and your abilities is an absolute characteristic that will lead to great things for you, your family and your business.

The successful network marketer keeps striving forward. Even if he/she gets 40 rejections, they talk to #41.

This characteristic falls hand in hand with self discipline.

Being creative is the sure sign of someone who has good odds of success. Creative does not mean it has to be something so advanced as the iPhone or the Slinky. Or having a creative elevator speech that makes people smile and be attracted to you.
Just pull out your creative side and you will probably surprise yourself.

I have yet to meet a successful entrepreneur who was not willing to take risks.
Now do not get me wrong, when I say risks, they are measured risks that have strong potential for a good outcome. But the only way to truly have success is to jump in with some risk, because that is the only way you can have the satisfaction of success.

This last one in this list is an absolute MUST!
Really, the only road to success in nearly any area of life requires hard work.
I hear of some who join a company and have the impression they can sit at home watching reruns of Little House on the Prairie and not spend any time doing the tasks to build their business. And then they expect they will make money.
Sorry, but it doesn’t work that way.
