Branding Yourself Tip #1: Make Yourself Valuable
So you know your MLM company is valuable, otherwise you would not have joined.
It will be easy showing prospects the value associated with the company, so do you need to focus on that immediately?
No!
“Sure, the company offers much value, but YOU… what do you offer?”
You can show the value you offer by educating… Teach people things they didn’t know that your products, services and opportunity can help them with.
As people see your determination to help people by freely sharing educational substance, they will realize the value you offer. They will ask you questions… They will seek your advice… And these people will want to join you.
And filling a strong network marketing team is SOOOO much more fun when they ask you to join instead of you trying to force them to join.
Branding Yourself Tip #2: Use Your Given Name
While it has never been an issue with me, my name is simple and easy to remember, some network marketers have stated they feel their name may be difficult to brand.
But don’t look at it that way!
Actually, the more unique the name, the odds of being remembered will be higher. Sure, they may not be able to pronounce or spell it, but they WILL remember. Especially if you are giving them what I said in tip #1.
So don’t try to change your name, brand it!!!
Branding Yourself Tip #3: Get A Domain
Just as I bought the domain erictippetts.com, you should also obtain your own domain.
Sure, maybe your MLM company provides you with a website, but having your own domain will allow you to brand yourself and no matter where things go, you can always use your domain for building any businesses you undertake.
Branding Yourself Tip #4: Be Consistent
People want to work with a person that is consistent. Don’t say one thing and do another. Do not teach your downline a method that you do not use.
Keep a consistent walk and your followers will also be consistent.
Consistency is a true sign of a leader.
Branding Yourself Tip #5: Be You On Social Media
Don’t try to be someone else on social media… People will discover the truth.
Use your own picture and be honest and upworthy.
Believe me, when people see that your social media profiles match the you at other locations, they will be more apt to join you and the opportunity you are sharing.
Branding Yourself Tip #6: Tell Your Story
Everyone loves a story!
And even if you think your story is boring or drab, there are people who will want to hear it.
You see, others have come through similar paths and when you share the story on how you got where you are, those same people will see the great results and will want to have what you have.
So don’t hesitate… Share your story and watch the recruits pour in.
