There have been many people who have given great and powerful messages that network marketers should learn from. Many of these messages did not “grab” the attention of people when they were first said, but as we recognized just how wise the individual is or was, we peered closer to their words and realized just how much those words could help us grow.

The key to building your dream is not by working for someone else your whole life just waiting to retire with a lump sum of cash.
You deserve to live your dream at an age when you can truly enjoy it.
We live that dream by building a network and allowing that network to lead us on the path to our dreams.
“You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want.” Zig Ziglar
This is the primary source of success in network marketing… We lead and train our downline to be successful and our success falls right into our laps.
It really IS that simple.
“Success in this industry is not in finding the right person, but in becoming the right person.” Dr. Forrest Shaklee
Dr. Shaklee said this years ago after he founded the MLM company that carries his name. And so many network marketers DO need to recognize the strong message he gave.
If you become the person you are trying to recruit, your followers will duplicate you and instead of just getting 1 right person, you will have a team of “right” people.
“Knowing others is intelligence; knowing yourself is true wisdom. Mastering others is strength; mastering yourself is true power.” Lao-Tzu
When we can train and lead the person we look at in the mirror, training and leading others will come with ease.
“People don’t believe what you tell them. They rarely believe what you show them. They often believe what their friends tell them. They always believe what they tell themselves.” Seth Godin
Simply put, be the prospect’s friend and he/she will believe you. Even better, appeal to emotions instead of logic, and you will have the person telling their self that the path is by following you.
“Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time.” Jim Rohn
When we can manage our time properly, we have a large part of the battle mastered.
“That’s why when people say, “Zig, motivation doesn’t last”. I say…Bathing doesn’t either, that’s why I recommend it daily!” Zig Ziglar
Every single day, we need to shower ourselves in motivation. It doesn’t have to come from the outside; just as you bathe yourself, you can also motivate yourself.
“Our only limitations are those we set up in our own minds.” Napoleon Hill
Our mindsets are the biggest challenge we have. If we can overcome the mindset roadblocks, truly anything is possible.
“I am a success today because I had a friend who believed in me and I didn’t have the heart to let him down.” Abraham Lincoln
This great President said a mouthful of wisdom with these words.
Are we being that friend? Are we not allowing our actions let someone down who believes in us?
“Don’t teach it unless you have proven you can do it.” Todd Falcone
It really all comes down to duplication in network marketing. That is what Todd is saying here. The best teacher is you doing it and allowing the recruit to see the results in action.
