By Tweeting questions that will garnish answers, you can discover Twitter users who have problems you can solve with your products or services.
As an example, let’s say your MLM business offers all organic cleaning products, you could Tweet “Are you concerned with the welfare of your children crawling on the carpet after you shampoo it?”
As Twitter users respond, you can now offer a solution to their problem.
Generate Leads On Twitter Tip #2: Take The User Away From Twitter
Your Tweet should be short and concise with a strong call-to-action. Using just one link, you should lead the prospect to a capture page away from Twitter.
A good capture page does not name the MLM business. It explains the valuable benefits and normally offers the person something (ebook, white page, sample, etc…) in exchange for their contact information.
Generate Leads On Twitter Tip #3: Don’t Sell… Engage And Educate
Not every Twitter follower is a lead… You need to immediately understand that.
But every Twitter follower is a potential prospect.
We have discovered the best method of turning a percentage of those Twitter prospects into leads is not by spamming them with your links.
The best way is to engage with them, educate them and form relationships. Wish the a joyous holiday without any links. Maybe the person asks a question about a problem they have. You have a way to solve it, but it has nothing to do with your MLM business.
Solve it anyway!
By doing so, you will gain a good reputation and when you do share your capture link, these followers you have helped before will see how you can help them again.
Generate Leads On Twitter Tip #4: Make A List Of Keywords That Relate To Your Business
I will again use the example I used before… Organic cleaning products. You should make a list of keywords that relate…
- natural cleaning
- safe cleaning
- organic products
Now do an advanced Twitter search for your keywords and phrases. Find Twitter users who have used these terms and follow them. You may even want to message the person and tell them how adamant you are about the same subject.
Generate Leads On Twitter Tip #5: Utilize Trending Hashtags
If a trending hashtag can fit seamlessly into your Tweet on your brand, product or a problem you can solve, by all means, use it!
Many prospects follow Twitter users just based on hashtags.
I must mention, don’t go overboard. Use hashtags sparingly or you could gain a spammer reputation.
Generate Leads On Twitter Tip #6: Call To Action Not Just On Tweets
Many marketers have discovered that by installing a call to action in their background photo and in their biography, they have attained leads.
Just make sure your call to action is clear and easy to understand what the person should do next.
Generate Leads On Twitter Tip #7: Don’t Give Up
It does take awhile to gain a good reputation and a following on Twitter. Do not expect overnight results.
The key is to be consistent and persistent.
Try Tweeting at different times to find when you get the best reception. Just keep Tweeting and you will get results.

Once you get leads, you have to manage that lead base in a wise way.
If you are not following up, your competitor will snatch your potential customer or recruit out from under you.
